Fame
- The Cheyenne Mountain Alumni Association will annually honor graduates of Cheyenne Mountain High School and remarkable community members by inducting these honorees into the Alumni Hall of Fame.
Eligibility:
Eligible for nomination is any Cheyenne Mountain graduate or community member who has had an outstanding and significant impact on the community and has distinguished himself or herself by extraordinary achievement in a chosen field or endeavor.
Nomination:
Any graduate or community member may submit a nomination. Nominator should write a short letter that gives an overview or summary of the nominee's education, background and achievements. Supporting materials such as news articles, published works, awards and services should be included with the summary. Letters should be mailed to the Cheyenne Mountain Alumni Association or submitted by e-mail through the Cheyenne Mountain Heritage Center/Alumni Association Web site. Nomination letters are due to the organization by September 15.. E-mail to info@cmhc-kiva.com.
Selection:
A selection committee representing members of the Alumni Association and community will review the nominations and make a decision on the inductees for that calendar year. If a nominee is not selected, he or she can be nominated again another year.
Presentation:
The Hall of Fame Inductees will be announced at the Kiva Homecoming celebration held at Cheyenne Mountain High School each fall. A photo of the recipient will hang in the high school library.
